The Association Canto de Capoeira has been created in 1999 by Contra Mestre Ursula.
Capoeirista for 32 years, CM Ursula began to practise Capoeira in Rio de Janeiro with Mestre Peixinho of Senzala group.
In 1992, she moved to Paris and she continues to work with capoeira. At the beginning of its creation, the association had few learners , some children and most of all students.
Its first “Batizado event” has been organized for those young people, thanks to the will and power of persuasion of CM Ursula.
Nowadays, She travels a lot all around Europe from events to events. She is often invited into international events of capoeira.
She has trained several teachers including three who teach courses for the association Canto de Capoeira.
